Thread: NLA Parts

    Question NLA Parts

Ok, the cars are getting older, we are getting older...

What parts that are no longer available would you like to see offered again? Porsche has their "New Editions" program. If we can show them that there is sufficient demand for certain parts, they may offer them again.

    How About Everything For A RS60, A GT Speedster, 904 , 73 Rs Light Weight And A 917k!

A Good Place To Start Would Be If They Made All The Parts For (Including The CHASSIS AND BODIES) for An RS60 Spyder, A 1959 GT Speedster, A 904, A 1973 RS Lightweight And A 917K..

Obviously The Prices Would Be About 10% Higher Then When These Parts Were Originally Availible In The 1960-1970s Because Of Inflation..

Engine wire harnesses. YnZ does some, and they're excellent quality, but not as nice as the OEM ones I bought as recently as 8 years ago. Also, YnZ only offers a few types, and there are many variations. Porsche probably has all of the specifications available.

On a more mundane note: a new set of sun visors for my '66 would be great. They have been NLA for a VERY LONG TIME!

I think the NLA part they could probably sell the most of would be the door pockets for 69-73' cars. Almost every car from this period out there could use a new set.

Next up would be the front turn signal boxes for the same period.

I've always considered the glass to be half full...that is until I reached middle age and realized that it is actually half empty.

I haven't found one yet, but for us nuthunas, the replacement sheet metal for the shelf at the back over the engine...ain't a pretty site up here when that rots away and for the life of me I don't understand why I can't find that part. Too bad we don't have someone amongst us who knows how to fabricate panels like that...or do we?????? They'd get my undying support.

I've got one, how about Porsche part number 911-110-078-00. Its the plastic air control for the 1969-73 MFI cars. I know I got the part number right but I forgot if this is the T-shaped one or the L- shaped one. JIM
