Not a car that is for sale but thought it might interest people as it is an unusual/possibly unique spec. #522 UK RHD car Glacier Blue with no ducktail from factory. Wasn’t sure where to post it and I know some people who contribute to this thread keep track of these cars.

Thanks for posting. Nice to see it. Think it’s one of two RHD with that colour.

Interesting that it didn’t have rear ducktail from new. Coincidentally I just posted this elsewhere - it shows the front bumper air dam without the rear spoiler was suboptimal aerodynamically compared to the balanced front and rear set according to Porsche factory data and the test done by German magazine in 73. Good it’s as original ans buyers prerogative. I assume original buyer wasn’t aware of that their (aesthetic?) choice was suboptimal compared to the factory specification for U.K. RS:

Hard to really see much from the video but as a self confessed “bobble hat” that a couple of small details jumped out at me. Not big issues but such little things catch attention given how much the video bigs-up their attention to detail by commenting on hidden plastic washers etc it rather invites comment on several things at first glance.

    - Would have expected a regular 6j15 “flat” Fuchs and 185/70vr15 cover for a British market 73 RS in a regular steel tank so not sure about the spare wheel at present. Maybe it’s original correct that I’ve never seen on the other eighty odd other original EG 16 RS but suspect what’s there now is not as was original?

    - They upgraded radio but in doing so radio they chose had got Mercedes knobs not the correct Porsche ones which seems a pity when a replacement radio is so visible right in front of driver in dash?

    - are those later black not original red stritones ?

Not hard to resolve if customer is bothered

Having said that looks to be nice car and work also like the colour — would be interested to see it better than can in the video viewers on iPhone if they show it as mentioned they might do.

Adding a picture from 2019. Black horns and the way mounted is not as the factory did it. Nice car certainly.
