    Yellow 1968 911L on Ebay from Cali / ex-Montana

I am new to the 911-scene, after 20 years of collecting VWs and 356s. I want to buy this one:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=

Does anybody on this excellent forum know anything about this car? It came to California from Montana just one year ago - anybody know anything.

And - you purists.... please "pick it a part" for me. What is wrong and not right with this car?

    Thank you in forehand!

There's nothing a lot of money won't fix. Keep looking.

    Good luck,

the white/blue car above is mine now, 1189, and I love it..based on the recent trades,(295k for the canepa car) . The recent sale on the EC car I understand was a driver..to bring it up to mine would take 80k.. I think I did well, the only way I would sell it is for the true lightweight M471 I'm looking at..none of the above cars listed were M471 optioned cars..does anyone know of any recent sales on those?

You could check on the price of this one for sale at Autofarm here in the UK (on sale for a long time). I don't know the price. No affiliation.

It's the only lightweight I know 'officially' for sale here in the UK.
