    Dealer Description:

The car comes with an ASi Gold certification and will have an independent inspection by a Porsche workshop.

    History since 1988...
It has an interesting history, we have known the owner and his son for many years. They are friends as well as clients and we are bringing the car to market under contract on their behalf.
Owned by the current keeper since 1988, he is a high profile figure in the classic car world. The President of ASi. (Best to Google or look on our main website for info on this).
The car has been used as you will see by the photos at various high profile events and is a well known car in Italy.
The car has had 3 previous owners and has paperwork recording their ownership.
    From 74 to 78
    From 78 to 80
    From 81 to 88
    From 88 to 16 - Current owner.

It is an Italian Market car (JV Code) built in May 1973 with LSD and special seats as an option. (In fact it is the only Viper Green JV Code car with a LSD specified from new).

1 of just 79 Viper Green cars built in 1973.

The car has been repainted around 10 years ago due to age of the original paint. The car has never been 'restored' and is original on the interior and frame. The car we feel greatly benefits from being largely original and not over restored as so many classic cars are. There is a beauty in having original items on a car with a degree of patina and we feel the car is just as it should be and it can be shown, used and enjoyed.

The car is not a matching numbers car having had the original engine replaced prior to 1988. At this time we are trying to discover if this was replaced by Porsche for warranty reasons or by one of the 3 previous owners. The engine is a genuine and period correct 2.7 RS engine.

We have the COA from Porsche for the car and all the paperwork is in order for the car as to be expected for such an historic vehicle.

This is a genuine car and is priced accordingly.

PX and funding arrangements are possible through our specialist classic car finance brokers.

The car is currently based in North Italy, but can be shipped worldwide.

    Clyde -

You mean the "sound pad"? Both of the RSs I owned had their sound pad. The car looks pretty correct, though "well used".

    Clyde,

That's because you have only owned 1st series Carreras. A third series, like this VG car, would have shutz under the paint like all the other production 911s.
