Bloody hell that's a rare picture - Snetterton and no rain plus the sun is shining . .... Steve Mummery was the race reporter for PCGB and he was always snapping pictures - I've lost his contact details but I'm sure he'd have many photo's of the series ...

Pic may be earlier because Goodrich became title sponsor in 90 IIRC

I did wonder that but I was told it was ‘90 by the guy that took the photo. I found it by luck on his Flickr account.

Thanks maybe there’s a way to contact him through PCGB. I was thinking of contacting them anyway.

If you look to the left of your ducktail in the pic, the car in the background, the Pirelli door labels were ditched when Goodrich took over

You would make a good detective ! I’ve had a look through the race histories i could find and it seemed he was most active/competitive ‘85 to ‘87 and I couldn’t fin any information much after than so maybe the guy that took the photo told me the wrong year.

I will go through all the papers i have from back then, we were given timesheets etc at every race and your car will be on there i'm sure, also there were regular articles in the Porsche Post at the time.

Yes the Autofarm championship was fun, i ran in that in my 911, there were some real 935's at the front, they couldn't get off the line at the start, i nearly went into the back of Rusty French's 935 at Snetterton but once they got going they were very impressive on track.. One Silverstone event we had a rolling start to make it easier for them.
