    Rs 452

I have wondered where this RS was as it is one number higher than my car. Well here it is.

This is the product of a color change 'restoration' in the past. I must admit the color is now is very striking but the original color of Olive is really cool also. This car is being offered for 265K GBP (gulp), but is has a deposit already pending inspection by the prospective buyer. Here are a few photos for our database once the link goes away.

    Rs 9113600452

Here is a couple of shots of the chassis plate. I also included a shot of the plate in my car. Tell me what you think.

Also this RS apparently has some race history according to the My Carrera RS site.

Obviously, your car's VIN plate has been replaced because it doesn't match the other two...

I'm not saying it's the best work I've seen.

Interesting way of looking at that Bryce, never dawned on me.

Looks like Tom has it displayed well to see the differences. One of the better ones I have seen, but I think the tell tale is the 'AG', instead of 'KG' on the plate. I have not seen a Jan. '73 produced car with an original 'AG' plate. Anyone seen this?

It just goes to show you, you CANNOT be TOO careful. I mean, imagine if you are uninitiated and looking for a RS....And don't know Brian...
    OR, don't frequent this site....

One could VERY EASILY make a VERY $$$$$$$ mistake.

and a few a bit further away ...... Maybe this is a "very special" car and that is why it has the special plate

by the way i have it as being sold out of france in 2009 and at that stage on french registration and the colour it is now. At that time it was described as being restored in the mid 80's
this was the engine stamp picture at the time. It was probably just a bad photo New Picture (8).png

The rivets "say" a lot too.

As for special maybe it's the one a gent told me he saw (in France) being built out of a 911T in the early 80's. The original RS was smushed and they were swapping parts, numbers and anything else to "make it work".
