    Source for chrome trim?

Several cars i've looked at (and one i'm hopefully buying) have either been missing some chrome trim or had it blacked out (coated or painted somehow). Can the chrome trim be purchased to replace the missing/black pieces? Are there certain pieces that can't be replaced (rear qtr windows?)? Would certain pieces need to be stripped/replated? Cost?

After looking on Pelican and a few other spots i'm starting to get the NLA blues.....................

    Thanks,

    Erik

Depending on the year you're looking at. post 68 have bright dipped alloy trim and i think that you'll find if you remove the black paint they should be O.K. mine where. but you can get these re anodized.

The window frames get a little tricky to find the correct year, winged or not etc.

And you can always find something on Evilbay.
