    Fuel tank fittings

Just finished refurbishing the fuel tank in my 1968 911L. I have a question as to what the third fitting is in the bottom of the tank. Of the three, one is the supply to the pump with filter, there is one thats a drain, and a third that has a small outlet. Is this outlet an addition vent or a supply to something else. The cas smells like gas fumes sometimes up font and I am looking for the source.
    Thanks

That is the fuel line for the Webasto heater. It should run from the outlet screen up into the smuggler's box.

Thanks. I thought the car may of had a gas heater. Having never seen one I wasn't sure that was what the additional fuel pick up was for. If I don't have the heater so can I just block it off?
