    Deleting the clock

Is the round plug that people use to block off the clock hole in R, RSR style interiors an actual specific part for that purpose - or can I just go and buy one from a hardware store?

If the former - please list any sources.

Ryan - it's an actual part.

Available from MS Roadrace for ~$80 ( ) - or you can make your own for virtually nothing.

I cut a circle from textured black ABS & bonded a short length of (80mm diameter from memory) plastic pipe to the rear.

You might also try VDO (the maker of the guages). Years ago I got a couple of these block off plates from a local speedometer calibration shop that carried VDO guages. I'm pretty sure they were an actual VDO part. They were very inexpensive...$5-10...nothing like the $80 price mentioned above.

i wonder what the margin on the $80.00 plug is?
