    Cibie "Oskar"

    Is this the correct Cibie lights for a 1973 911? What should I pay for them in todays market?

    they are not the hood mounted lights if that is what you are asking.....

    No they are not. You want the Cibie "Pallas" style lights. Here are tons of great pictures and info:

    But, on the other hand these are correct for at least one RSR raced in -73 in the US. I think the T Hall RSR had these at least one race.

    But in generall the "Rally" hood lights are MUCH nicer.

    Thank you for all your help guys !!

    I go to France every summer with my family, usually for 3 weeks. If I understand you correct, these light where made for Citroen Pallas? If so I will visit all the car "churchyards" I can find! I will let you know if I find anything.

    By the way was these light just mounted on Porsche race/rally cars or where they an option from the factory?

    Factory lights

    The pair of Cibies on my 73E were picked up at the factory by the first owner when he took delivery. I was told that they were not DOT approved for import and had to be mounted after the car left the factory.This was done at the Penske dealer in Philidelphia.
