    Sport Seats in Vanagon

If you have one of these, or know someone who does:
In speaking with my good friend and mechanic, he offers the following for people who have sport seats with no mounting hardware. It may be a new market for your seats, if they have no mounting hardware.
As the 911 sport seats and Vanagon seats have the same slider width, the sport seats can be installed in a Vanagon using modified Vanagon sliders mounted to the 911 height adjustment legs (with the 4 holes) A threaded rod needs to be fabricated and welded along the top of the Vanagon sliders to mount the sport seats. As the leg mounts are the same width as the vanagon sliders the sport seats need to be mounted in the highest position (bottom hole) or the leg mounts need to be cut for a lower installed height. Also, the stock Vanagon slider locking lever needs to be mounted via brackets on the modified Vanagon sliders.
    Just some food for thought
