    Driver side door?

I have been wondering, why is there no door handle on the drivers side door like on the passenger door. I fell that it is very impractical when I close the door. What is the normal "handle" to use when you close your drivers side door? (excuse my very short experience with early Porsche)

Not sure the official answer but I believe it is to provide you with more room to drive. I use the map tray as a handle (carefully!)

I lower the window, and i have always wondered the same thing, even thought of just putting a handle there

I used a loop of leather under the arm rest and poking out between it and the door pocket. You can close the door with it and then tuck it away from view if you wish.

Pulling on the door pockets is pretty risky.

Uh, yankin on those door pockets can be a very expensive mistake. Way better off installing a leather strap or simply roll down your window to pull the door shut.

Or find a rare RHD version and fit that. I used original grab handles on both side of my LHD 911. It does not interfere with the driving position at all..
