Special LeMans night at the AutoKennel Oct 25th FREE

In association with the Orange Coast Region of the
    Porsche Club of America

    AutoKennel
    presents

    Tony “A2Z” Adamowicz
    Evening at “LeMans”

    When: Wednesday, October 25, 2006 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm

    Where: AutoKennel
    3001 Redhill Ave.
    Building #6, Suite 109
    Costa Mesa, CA 92626
(North West Corner of Redhill and Kalmus)

What: Most of us have seen the movie LeMans, but none of us have seen it like this!!

Tony Adamowicz, professional racecar driver, will share his unique perspective of what it was like to race at LeMans in the early 70’s. Tony drove a Ferrari 512 with Sam Posey to a podium finish in 1971 at LeMans and has driven several Porsche 917s in his career as well. Also, this is a SUPER RARE OPPORTUNITY to be the first to see UNSEEN film footage of behind the scenes during the filming of the movie LeMans. Close friends of Chad McQueen have allowed our group to see the documentary of the “Making of LeMans.” This will be the FIRST (and maybe the last) showing to a public audience! Also, we will be showing other behind the scene footage taken from tons of unseen film. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS. We will end the evening with a complete viewing of the recently released DVD version of the movie.

Who: Tony Adamowicz, www.a2zracer.com, started his racing career in 1964. Accomplishments include: Trans-Am Champion in a Porsche 911, 2-time Daytona 24 Hour Class Winner and 2nd place overall, Formula 5000 Champion, Indy 500 driver, 2-time LeMans Podium Finisher, Can-Am driver, World Record Holder in the Cannonball Run Race, and co-founder of www.a2zracergear.com official/licensed Gulf Racing Wear!

We ask each attendee to offer a $5 donation to CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County)

We will be providing coffee, water, beverages , and Pizza during the event.

If you have a fold-up chair, please bring it as well.

Please RSVP to Paul Kramer at 714-668-0345 or paul@autokennel.com
