This is a very good event to bring significant others to. They all seem to like the "no pressure to go real fast" atmosphere (due to the stage like nature of the run on the mexican side of the border) with all the scenery and culture to enjoy.
Also you only have to get up early on Friday. Saturday and Sunday have more relaxed start times

The San Nicolas is a good place. I've stayed there a couple of times on motorcyle rides down there. And the parking id secure there.

    Looking forward to this.
    Cheers,

    Steve

working on a site with all the details, pictures, contact info and will post the link soon
this is shaping up nicely! We just found out that the city is having their winter carnival on this weekend and we have a separate secure "car show" corral to keep our car in Saturday afternoon.
As the carnival grounds are within stumbling distance of the San Nicolas This lil show is a no brainer

It is a long drive up from Mexico City, but if enough people sign up, I would seriously consider sending the car up and flying up there. Sounds great. I might even convince a couple more early 911 mexicans to join us up there.

David with the White RS, Ramon with the black RS, and perhaps Juan with his Weissach - maybe you can convince them to send their cars up from D.F. too.

If we get enough entries we may decide to extend the route, and hence the event, so we spend a night in San Felipe- the road from ensenada to S.F. is definitely Porsche country!

Dave, if you have their contact information, it might be a good idea to send them some information when you have a better detailed schedule. The more cars we can send up there, the cheaper it will be.
