    FS: Wood Wheels and others

    Here's a bunch of wheels I'm selling. Don't know exactly why I've so many, they just seem to accumulate. Condition ranges from unrestored to mint. Please email for more pics/price etc. Thanks.

    Wheels, shown from L to R, top then bottom.
    1. Wood wheel, needs resto, dated 69 VDM, 16.5".
    2. Black wheel, excl, very thick. Dated 73 VDM, RS wheel? 91134708200, 15.75".
    3. Wood wheel, very nice, round cap, 16.5".
    4. Wood wheel, mint restored, 68VDM, 53, 16.5".
    5. Wood wheel, like new, VDM style, nardi pattern. 15.5".
    6. Wood wheel, mint restored, stamped 1956. 16.5"

    Don't you understand the way DeBeers works? You're only supposed to dribble them into the market so as not to depress pricing

    I am starting to look for a 914/6 steering wheel part no. starting 914 347 80.... for my soon to commence rustoration.
    What do you guys have for my 1971 10 year keeper ?

    Hey Eric, I should have thought of that. Oh well, too late now. I'll probably sell them and end up needing another. That seems to happen.

    The last wheel is stamped 1956? I've never seen that style anytime before the '60s.

    I posted over on the general page regarding wood wheels, and included all of mine with the stamping #'s, as did another member with a bunch of wood wheels. General conclusion is that the "stamping #'s" have nothing to do with a date stamp (which some wheels have and others don't).

    Now back to "on topic"...
