    After 12 hours......

I got inspired bye some of you guys !!!!!

I used a "steel wool wheel" and a nylonrondel. Then i used 240, 600, 800 ,1200 wet paper. I finished it of with a cotton wheel with standard metal polish. I stole ideas from several recipes on this site..... Now I just have to get it all back together again.

I have not treated it with anything, I hope it will hold, I never drive in the rain.

    John

Well, that is sure magnificent if you like things shiney. I don't think it will stay that way long. Magnesium alloy dulls quite a bit faster than the alum Fuchs. And they are good for about 30 days w/o doing anything. A good wax job helps a bunch to extend that time. But, sooner or later one has to break out the polish again.

I wish I had that kind of time. I used to enjoy that sort of work a lot. Don't get to do it much anymore.
