I just emailed Chris this thread. He isn't on the board much. Hopefully he'll stop by soon.

Hey thanks for the compliments!!! I don't have a lot of time to cruise both Pelican and early911s registry so I did not know any of this discussion was going on until Kenik sent me an e-mail.

Most of the restoration info is on one of the two Pelican sites. I never posted pics after I completed the car and probably should do so.

I will post a few more pics of the car soon.

    Thank again, Chris

    Chris,
I had a 72 E years ago with ST rear flares and 9's on the back. I didn't even know what an ST was back then. Had a 2.7 MFI motor, great car. I always wanted to do front flares but I was a broke student back then. The crazy thing was I had a factory set of bumper ends that I threw away when I put F/G bumpers on car.

    Chris,
I saw the threads on pelican, great work..cool work on the center fill set up. I guess if I wanted steel flares I would need to cut back turbo flares?..take some pics of the interior and engine bay as well if you get a chance..I would like to do a simular project this winter......thanks
