    Kremer RS Lightweight Conversion

An interesting car showed up at the Taj Speedfest this weekend. The car is a 1973 (T, I believe??). The car was converted by Kremer in Germany to RS Lightweight specs in the late 70s/early80s. The current owner bought it nearly 20 years ago. Lots and lots of nice little details on this one. The seats are Recaro and look brand new! The current owner changed the color to the white RS livery.

    not a Kremer expert....

...but God was it fun to ride in one!!!

The exhust system pictured is (cool for 2.0 - 2.5 carburated engines) wrong for the 2.4 or greater MFI cars. I cannot belive that Kremer would consider that particular system as helpful.

Everything else is way cool. Thanks for posting that Curt...nice to finally met you in Sonoma. Your 2.5 targa car rocks !

    I love your car. Shawn.

Hey Shawn, you're right! I didn't even think to ask Bob (owner of the white Kremer RS) about the performance with that sport muffler on MFI. You guys are going to have to start coming out here... to OUR events!

I had the pleasure of riding in Duane's car in Sonoma... what a treat! I didn't ride in Bob's RS, but it's a beautiful car with some fantastic and unique details.

Shawn - apparently that motor has some real tricks inside - particularly the heads. It might be setup to take advantage of the sport muffler.

Are you saying the sport muffler is wrong because it's not original or it's wrong because the 2.4- don't work well with it?

    from hershey pca parade

I took these during the above event - concours day.

Not sure why the number plate - tag - is on the car as this is not the correct age - its a uk plate and 'A' at the front would be 1983 or 1984.

Not a bad little collection - mine's the black rhd rs with the uk plate PPP999L parked infront

    Great looking car - CARS.
