    chrome (?) window frame help

The chromed window frames on my 73S have some small scratches on them that I would like to remove. I am told that wet sanding or fine steel wool will remove the scratches if the frames are aluminum. However, I have also heard that the frames have an anodized "semi" gloss finish that will be ruined if wet sanded, and that there are very few who could re-do the anodized finish due to current EPA regulations these days. Any advice on how to refinish my frames would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Nick,

If you want them redone, Anobrite is place where people send them from all over the country... sometimes out of the country as well ...
