Turn me on to some outstanding automotive photographers...

I have some favorites but would like to build my library/bookmarks/magazines of some great photographers. Of course...Porsche being the preferred subject matter but not mandatory - just trying to keep this from being kicked into OT forum. Photographers do not have to be professional. Would prefer photographers who are really pushing the artistic envelope with a distinctive style.

Hal Crocker is certainly one of the great Porsche photographers of our time. His two websites are http://www.sportscarmedia.com/ and http://www.teamunicorn.com/.

Although he's not a professional, Pelican smarjoram's photos have always knocked me out. He's an artist that works on the Wallace and Grommit films in real life.

When I think of "Porsche" and "photography", Jeff Zwart always comes to mind. Although he is not strictly an automotive photographer, he is definitely the best Porsche racer who is also a photographer, and he has focused on the cars in the past. http://www.pmletter.com/Jul99/July99.html, for example.

I would not leave our own Randy Wells off the list, either. His photos always strike me with their composition and clarity.

    DUPLICATE POST FROM PELICAN:
Thanks to all in my search - you guys really turned me on to some excellent material. Randy Wells and Sherwood Lee have dedicated folders on the computer with their excellent work. I bookmarked a few sites (some previously posted here) after some googling and compiled them below for your viewing pleasure. I now have some books on order and plan to order more.

    Bob:

Go back in and edit your thread with the links, removing the "ery" from the end of the David Perry Studio link. That will allow it to work and I agree, there is some very cool stuff in there. Love that black caddy on the Billy Gibbons page. Can you imagine parking that thing...anywhere?

Thanks for posting these. This is a thread that will be viewed time and time again for the access to these great photographers websites.
