Question Early 911 quirks (by year)

Thought I might learn a bunch from this thread. For starters, my '72 has the external oil fill door on the passenger side just behind the door. This, as all on this board knows, was particular to 1972 911 vehicles. What other quirks are out there?

'69S MFI pump has two solenoids vs. one solenoid as on the rest of the later pumps.

I actually found a good use for the dash crack yesterday. I used the Ohio Turnpike for a short stint and the crack held my turnpike ticket perfectly. Windows and sunroof were open and the ticket didn't waver a bit, even at 85mph.

68 has unique door panels and pockets, unique rear view mirror (shared with the RS I believe), unique fuchs size wheels 5.5x15 (on the S at least)

    For 1973:
"Fasten Seat Belt" light (US Spec).
    Double latch sport seat mechanism.
Seatbelt latch sensor wire under seat (US).
Black turn indicator trim, grilles, badging.
Those butt ugly rubber bumpers (US).
One open decal spot on rear cross member.

    RS motor

Seller has a supposedly real RS motor for auction too. How does one verify authenticity aside from number? It's on Ebay too but can't direct you the link due to my lack of computer knowledge.
    Cheers.

1968 cars also had aluminum door window frames, while earlier cars were chrome plated.

Hello: All my early 911's have gauges in metric. Some have bad body work and the dash crack option as well. All have no sunroofs and light colored roof covering. Lastly all are not running right now. Oh well. Thanks Eric
