Rare Roll Bar For Sale

Fabricated by TRE Motorsports, this roll bar is an exact duplicate of the Code 9535 Porsche factory roll bar which was optional equipment from 1967-1971 (In 1972, a diagonal brace was added).

This very distinctive bar can be identified by the large gradual bends in the main hoop.

If you have never seen one, fire-up your DVD copy of Le Mans. Most of the racings 911's in the film have them - including the blue 911TR that crashes out with the yellow Lola about 3 hours into the race. It mounts on two small feet (included) which are welded to the top of the sills behind the doors and the rear braces mount to the studs that normally hold the rear seat-backs. The feet are only about 3/8" high and can be covered by the original (or replacement) carpet if the bar is later removed. It is finished in semi-gloss black powder-coat.
