    Oil Leak

I have a early 911 with the center lube cams and I have an oil leak on the left side of the motor it puddles up under the solex fuel pump base gasket I have replaced the gasket twice the oil line is not leaking I was thinking that mabe the collective minds of the forum might be of some help.

    Thanks Tony

Do you have a phenolic spacer between the fuel pump and the case? If so is it cracked? I don't know the Solex 911 at all, so I really don't have a visual of your problem area. I would say clean the area thoroughly and inspect carefully while the engine is running - you gotta catch this stuff in the act.

It has webers now so I have tried it both ways with the spacer and also just with a gasket
