    New Polo Red Shots 67S

    Checked on the progress of my car today and took some pics. Its a long road.

    It's almost like a newborn baby. Be patient and do it right.
    Use only cad plated bolts for the fenders, meticulous assembly of the window franes so there is nice easy movement in the window sliders; take a whole day to put the doors back on so you have a nice crisp slam without any force, etc...
    One last tip, which was the only mistake I made when putting my 67 back together - make sure to flip the wipers up before testing them. I was working on a 73 and a 67 at the time and forgot that my 67 wipers parked on the right. When I turned them on to test them I ended up putting a nice gash in the front cowl - and it was back to the painters shop...
