    68 2.0 911S motor complete with Weber’s - #4081533

This motor came out of the TM Special Porsche powered sports racer that I purchased a couple of years ago. The car originally ran with a 356 powered motor and is being restored to that configuration so I don’t need this motor. Scroll down on this page for original photos: http://www.boxstar.net/sportsracer.htm

I have someone who is interested in the motor for a race car. But, a race motor can be built from any case and perhaps someone out there is looking for an original 2.0S for a restoration. Or maybe, just maybe, we can reunite this motor with the original car. The last 68 S motor was #549, so this is very close to the end of the model year production run.

Before removal from the TM Special the motor was started and run by the guys at Emory Motorsports and the motor ran fine (see video link below) although the carbs were leaking. Compression and leak down #’s are:

The motor is at Emory’s shop in Oregon. The numbers and video say a lot, but the motor sat in storage for many years before I bought the car and it is difficult to determine the actual condition without disassembly. Sorry, but I can’t warranty the condition of the motor. Prospective buyers are welcome to inspect it at Emory’s shop (contact me first).

Price?? I’ve tried to do some research and have been told its worth from X to Y, a very wide range. Serious buyers can PM me or call me at 541-788-4553 with offers. Sorry I can’t put a specific price on it at this point. Preference will be given to the owner of the original car if we can find it.

    Thanks,
    Mark
