    Porsche Karma

    Hey guys,

Remember me ? The $#%% who bought a 911T that was spliced of 2 cars, with the wrong VIN on the title to boot. 2+ years of fixing up the mess and all that jazz ? Well, I've sold the car - took a bath on it but the new owner is happy (he should, at that price, he paid for the parts only) ! It's not that I did not like it anymore or that it was a bad car, it's just that it was a perpetual reminder of my F@#k up everytime I opened the garage door !!!

Here's where the 911 Karma kicks in. Since I was nice and honest about it all, unlike the PO, the Porsche Gods smiled upon me. An old friend whom I had sold my first 911 to, an 83 SC, decided to sell it back to me at virtually the same price I sold my 911T for ! Great deal, so essentially, I recouped 1/2 of my loss and got my first 911 back... Yeah, it's not a long hood, I know, but she's a nice car and at 167000 miles only shows 2% leakdown on all cylinders !!

I was thinking backdate initially, but then again I might just wait and buy another early car one day (target of opportunity) instead of messing with this one - it's too nice ! This time I'll be very careful and get the PPI in writing ;-)

Nice SC. Don't mess with the SC, enjoy it, and buy a longhood in due course.
