    1973 RS Follow-Up

Remember the yellow 73 RS whose authenticity was subject to debate on this board as well as Pelican and Rennlist?

It's now for sale at Fantasy Junction (www.fantasyjunction.com) in California for $183,000. To my knowledge (no affiliation nor have I bought a car from them) they are a pretty reputable dealer. I wonder if they know of this cars suspicious background...hmmmm...plot thickens?

Interesting. But I think I'd rather have the Alfa Romeo ambulance they've got listed!

Those numbers stamped into the trunk latch plate do NOT look like they came from Dr. Porsche's establishment! I've had two 1973s and they both had four-row VIN plates with the VIN number stamped on the left side. And the stampings looked MUCH less crisp than this one.

That is the worst "replacement" plate I've seen yet.

    1. 911SC stamped and not embossed. Plus what's with the S after the SC?
    2. font's all wrong
    3. wrong plate period
