Alas, after sitting in that very car I learned that I could not ever own a 904 that I intended to drive. If you're 6 feet tall you can forget about it. It's a Jeff Gordon - Kasey Kahne car.

    They are pretty.

Being 6'2" it is good to hear that I can croos another expensive car off of my list of desired cars. Funny thing is that when I was a little kid I always wanted to be short so that I could live on a boat when I got older and not have to bend over like my Dad did. But having met my share of women in my adult years who all seem to all find height an important factor in choosing a man , I am glad that I didn't get my boyhood wish.
Being one of many people over 6', we can all agree that there are few old sports cars we can comfortably fit into. Thank God Porsche built the 911 with the goal of creating enough leg and headroom for people taller than 5'10" versus Ferrari, Jaguar etal who back in the 50's and 60's seemed to focus all of their design efforts on building compact cockpits in order to cater to all of the little Napoleons with money to throw away on unnecessary luxuries.
My one real concern is whether a person over 6' can comfortably sit in the cockpit of a 917??? One day I hope to have the priviledge of sitting in one of them - if even just to sit in it for a few minutes and look at the gauges and hold the wheel...
