New sport seats.. what to do with them??

So I picked these up on Ebay for what I though was too good to pass up.

Not sure what to do with them now so I though I'd ask the pro's. You guy's have such good taste with these early 911's so I ask you this:

    1. Would you switch these out with the houndstooth SWB seat's in my 67S?

    2. Or, I was thinking of only using the driver side and sourcing some "patinaed" (SP??) houndstooth fabric to match my passenger seat. One Sport seat, one regular?

    3. Sell them outright and find a correct SWB sport seat for the driver side.

    Well,

67 sport seats are difficult to find, as are 68's which are similar but need to be resculpted a bit. You could do as you indicated...and your seat center fabric may be useable if you want to rip up one seat (I've done this...). OR, you could recover the seats you bought, and have Tony resculpt them to look like 67 seats (sans headrests).

Here's what I did in my 67S coupe.

Bill, If those are the sport seats that came in the 72S cars I will buy them from you as I need them for my 72S I'm restoring. -Scott

Supposedly they're from a 70. Not sure what the changes were up to 72, but they are tilt forward bases. I'll let you know if I decide to sell them though.
