    Brake line source

Does any one have a source for the steel brake lines on a 1968 911? I am going to up grade to Stainless flex lines and would like to change all the steel lines at the same time. I don't trust almost 40 year old steel lines.

The hard brake lines should be available from Stoddard or your dealer. As an alternative, Inline Tube (586-532-1338) will make the lines for you in either regular or stainless steel. You send them your old lines and they copy them.

    Good luck, John

Yes, Stoddard offers seprate lines or line sets. The trouble is that they need to be bent to shape.
Are the lines from Inline tubeing bent to order? I have tried twice to get a brake line bent now on my own, with a bending tool. It works but dose not look factory. The tie rod pinched mine when the strut was pulled off the ball joint end in my mishap in May.

Inline Tube (and I'm sure there are others) will laser scan your old lines and make exact duplicates using computer CNC benders.
