    Restore interior door handle

    Hi,

I think I have read the solution in another link but lost that. How can I restore the hard plastic interior door handles into it's former glory? They are now a bit faded...

    Thanks,

    Cees

    Cees,

I've been using 303 Protectant for a number of years now, it seems the best stuff so far....

Use it straight and 'feed' the stuff that's really looking tired ... After the stuff starts looking better you can then dilute it half and half with water and use it as needed...

I used it for all my rubber, plastic, and vinyl stuff... great on tires

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers,

    Cees,

303 is good stuff...much better than Amorall which leaves everything greasy and creates a haze that's almost immovable on the interior of the windshield and other glass if the car sees the sun and/or heat.

    303 for me too .

    Cheers,

a product called "forever black" works great.
its probably similar to liquid shoe polish.
its meant for all hard rubber or plastic car trim and holds up well,
even when used for exterior parts.
    google it.

Dunno bout ya suthunas, but up here in da great white we use a product called "Back To Black". Several straight up coatings brought mine along quite nicely.

Thumbs up faded plastic door handles

Thanks to you all for the great advise (and the link!), I will definitely give it a try with 303!
I am not sure if I can find the other products in Europe, but should be no problem to get them shipped from the States.

    Regards,

    Cees
