BMW, Donohue Javelin and Smokey Yunick "special construction". The car would have re-written the rule books with. Owned by Vic Edelbrock.

Couple of really nice early 356 cars and an English car with too much engine.

How does he keep it pointed straight?

Geez, most, if not all of those cars in the pics were at Watkins Glen as well. That must make a pretty couple of wild weeks on the road doing both events huh? We had a very full field of TransAm cars pounding it out at WGI...now that was a show to watch.

Nicest BMW of this vintage short of the one Mobile Tradition put together. The second is a custom Pasta Machine power plant. You name it, Luigi can make it.
The last photo I could not resist due to the country boy in me. I would like one of these.

great stuff...... that dk blue 356 is raced hard and very well......

if Im not mistaken, the Yunick car was built like at 9/10's size? VERY shrewd......or maybe he did another car (malibu)?

    Bmw Cs

IIRC...that green BMW CS coupe was "touched" by KORMAN in NC( a well known racer/tuner, now shop owner from the 70/80's).........and runs very strong.
