Your not off base at all price wise. Next to the early alluminum cases these are the most sought after since the 2.4 case (even the S) wasn't stressed near as much as the 2.7 cases. You may want to give some more details about the specifics. Such as if it has been bored, miles, any machine work or why it is not being taken advantage of. If I didn't have two extras I'd jump on it. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the feedback, Rick. The reason I'm not using it is that I got a nice deal on a '74 long block. I have disassembled that and it looks good so I will be using that case, which is also a 7R. I figured the '74 was even better for my application since I will not have to bore the spigots. The '74 should be good as well since it was not stressed by thermal reactors.

As far as info on the '73.5 case, I really don't have any at this time. The mileage is unknown since it was used as a replacement case at some point in my '72's life. It doesn't appear to have had any machine work to my untrained eye. I would get more measurements, but I don't know where to take it that I could get that information cost effectively. If you have any ideas in that regard, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Eric, I'm not opposed to a trade for parts, but I can't really think of anything I need. Basically, my near term costs are all related to machine work, which is why I'm selling the case. That said, I'd really prefer to sell the case.

Someone has asked for pics, which aren't that great since the flash is off. If there's other pics anyone wants please let me know. I have lowered the price to $525.

Edit: oh yeah, no pulled head studs, and studs were removed with a little heat and proper tool.
