    comparable?

How does that translate in "S" terms from a dollar standpoint? Are we looking at a $150,000 "S"? Killer car! My first BMW was a 4 speed Bavaria in 72 and no one knew what it was then in Colorado.I could blow almost anyone away up the passes around 10,000 feet.A great concept car. There cars were prone to cracks in the blocks due to cooling defects.Mine died an early death.

I assume original paint although no mention. I would have mentioned it or did I miss the text?

Stacy - you need some non-Porsche variety in the collection.

"The whole world IS watching".......... good homework Stac,

Still a lovely car ... For awhile you couldn't give these cars away, and now they're finally getting their due. I once had a drive in an Alpina version of a car like this and was VERY impressed to say the least....... It ripped your lungs out while wrapping you in luxury......

    Cheers,

    Previous cars:

    '67 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 - money pit disaster
    '01 BMW M Coupe - great car
'04 Audi S6 Avant, also a great car

I've always loved these 3.0 CS cars, and Chuck nailed it - as recently as 4 years ago, a REALLY Pristine example (NOT the CSL) but the standard CS version could be had for $10K, and I MEAN PRISTINE....
