    Plastic for a DD

Anyone use a plastic rear window for a daily driver? I know lexan scratches but as it would be 'trailing' it shouldn't take too much of a brunt.

One of our members, Jashford, had Plexi/Lexan in every window in his car save for the front for years. And this was years ago. Like 1980.

He had to put glass back in to run in the PCA events.

Take the old window and get the plastic window cut to size.
To get the curve in it he used an oven and heated it enough to cause it to bend to the curve of the glass window.

You will need to take care when it picks up dust/debris. Hose it off with soapy water and dry it with a clean cotton towel. I wouldn't rub a lot either.

    Good luck,

    Tom
