Lights and hood, the details, the details..........

I have two questions, I hope somebody can answer.

1. I have seen several Cibie hood lights with both 3 and 4 brackets for the adjuster screws (on the backside of the reflectors attached to the rim). Is there any difference? (they are 100% identical except for this)

2. I don’t know a lot about hood crests, but I have read what I can find on the Pelican and Sreg. I see that the pre 74 was orange bars and later red? I have also seen that some early, pre 74 crests have 901 stamp on the back in the lower right corner, and some have the full parts number stamp in the upper left corner on the backside? What’s the difference? Witch would be correct for my 73?

From what I know, the ones with the full part number are not the original ones, the ones with the 901 in the back are the correct ones, but....there also seems to be a few reproductions around and it's apparently hard to tell them apart.

However, I believe all the available wisdom on hood crests is on this board.
