    did you see the throw on that shifter. its not close to the factory setup cars you see on old videos. why were the stock shifters so much different than what you see in early videos? what shift kits were they using that could make that much difference and why weren't the RS cars coming that way from the factory? can you say misshift

    If you want to see a nice shifter, check out the photos of the 911-R (no sale) from the Christie's auction. The entire unit was moved back about 8 inches from my memory.
    I sat in the car a couple of years ago and was quite surprised how "close" everything was in comparison to a standard 911 setup.

    The driver in that video appears to be sitting waaaay too far back from the steering wheel to have correct control over that car in the wet.
