    Instrument einsteins pls

In the course of my cars current rustoration,I sent the instruments away for freshening up.
Now returned in very good order,I see several markings inside the face of the rev counter.
Three very small marks are at 9,12 and 3 o'clock.
Are these to align the face correctly ?
    I see 0014 at5,200 revs.
    What is this ?
    P/n is 911 641 303 01 dated 12/70.
    Anyone ?

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

    Dennis - well spotted !

I have just checked some of the tachos in my 'stash' (including some NOS) - all have the 3 (barely noticeable in most cases - I've never spotted them before) tiny marks on the inner black ring at the positions you stated.

As for the 0014 - that must be linked to its 'S' application somehow since I've just checked an 'E' tacho which has 0012 & a 'T' tacho which has 0016 - both in the 5200 position.
