    Midwest R Gruppe/Early S Event Sept 17

    OK, Joe Batista is interested in hosting a weekend event on September 17 in Rockford IL. If my car is finished by then, I plan to attend. Who else is interested???? We need a rollcall ...

    Hi Curt,

    The 17th of Sept. is a Sunday. Is Joe talking about a one day event or would it be Sat. and Sunday? Thanks.

    Rockford Event

    I am definitely interested. I was actually thinking of posting a thread to see if any "early" guys wanted to get together for a drive this fall, so your post is timely. I will mark it in my calendar. See you then!

    Curt, possible track day...? Blackhawk? Would you welcome a '76 911 racecar or is for early cars only? If not, I will just bring the '71 T. Thanks.

    I think I can make it over for Friday night and part of Saturday but I need to be home on Saturday night. Didn't Joe mention using a track near Madison?

    Glad to hear you can make it Scott, maybe we can still come up with something in Oct. a little more central for the guys too far from Rockford.

    Cars? I am going to Joe's for some of that fantastic lamb like he sent out to you for us to enjoy.

    Hey speaking of that Rob, this is your chance to come out our way for a change. Blow off the GAF and fly into Chicago the following week. I'll pick you up in the RS and then we blast over to Rockford.

    I would love to be there (primarily for the food as well) but will be in Germany and Austria that w-e.
    I suspect that Brian "has" to be home bay sat night simply so that he doesnt feel pressured to put that RS on a track!
