Some of you may know me from the Pelican board as Scooter03 (or 92 or 84), but here I am Scooter 911. I joined today as a paid member and look forward to participating on this board. I have lurked here for a while and am very impressed with the knowledge of the members. I just purchased my 1970 911 T with a '72 carburated 2.4 and 915 transmission a week ago Sunday from Doug&Julie on the Pelican board. I just arrived home on Sunday in Seattle. Here are some obligatory pics:

Welcome. It's good to see you come over the "old school"!

Your trip log is what this hobby is all about. I insist that everyone here take the time to read it. I wasted a good portion of my work day today reading it. It is delightful. BTW, how did the '92 die? I had no idea.

Thanks guys. We really have a fanstastic group of early car owners up here, and I look foward to being one of the many. Thanks for the invite Randy. I know quite a few of your members already, so I am sure that a drive with you would be a great time. Just let me know where and when, and I will be there.

I forgot to mention that her name is Millie, the Adventurer!

I guess I should attach a link to my adventure cross-county with Millie:

Steve, thanks for the compliment. I believe the seats are Nurburgrings.

Kenikh, I had a mishap with the 964 and she ended up totalled. Rest assured, she is being rebuilt as we speak.

Mark, yeah, I alerted Marc to a local '69 that he ended up buying. I'd be happy to come down to Bend sometime.

Welcome Scooter! The car looks very well sorted and cared for, nice purchase and done in style, I might add.

I read a bit of your trip report too, great stuff! Apparently management is a little looser in Kenik's office, there always seems to be a 911 on my monitor... anyway I finally had to close the browser, maybe they're finally catching on to my distractions...

Contact Randy about the Mt. St. Helens Tour that goes off in couple weeks, should be some good fun and great driving!
