    Steering wheel questions

    This is the steering wheel off of my 65 911 does this look like the correct one I thought that the early cars had wood steering wheels the chasis #300688 any help or ideas would be great

    i have been doing alot of steering wheel research lately. from what i have found. the 65 and 66 came with the wood wheel standard. the 67 and 68 came with the wood wheel as an option.

    I've seen more than one '66 with the wheel you have pictured above.

    Well Iam purchasing another 65 next week it has a wood wheel thats what made me question this wheel thanks for the help
