    Thanks to the Portland guys!

Had to fly out to Portland last week on business and hooked up with Jeff Smith to check out his collection. I had already spent a lot of time photographing the WMD911, so it was nice to see some of the other hot-rods that made up his collection. Spent a lot of time riding and driving in the silver 2.7 coupe-that red interior is sick! Jeff even gave me a bracket I needed for my Blaupunkt radio-thanks dude!
Had dinner with Earl Green and Tom Fender and got to go for a ride in Toms 67S with the new super-short gearbox! Way cool! Thanks for the hospitality guys!

    Hey Dave,

It was great hanging with you too! Sorry for the late reply I haven't visited the board for a while.

    Thanks... Earl

I saw Jeff's red car (with the 3.7) at the Portland Parade. It makes me tingly inside. That silver car with the red interior does too.

    Hey Earl,

Good seeing you today,...but I forgot to ask you how that new ride of yours is doing?

    You got a real dandy.

    Hey Steve,

Pretty wild... I heard you helped Randy project the car. What a great car. It's rough on the street but man what a cheater track car. I had Jeff by 80hp last weekend at Miller.

Wow Earl, I finally get to see pictures of your new car. Too bad you didn't have it in time to show it off on our Pac West tour. Looks awsome. Can't wait to see it in person.

Indeed, I did,..... It was specifically configured and setup for DE use so its firm for the road, but its a "weapon" (to paraphrase Mr. Gamroth) and you did REALLY well with that aquisition in every way.

I'm VERY pleased that its not only in PDX, but in good hands,...
