    Before They Were Valuable

I was just perusing old posts at Pelican and found the attached picture of an RS. I guess there was a time when RS's weren't as valuable as they are today.

KN is right, it's definitely a Swiss car. I live in Zurich/Switzerland and these are the highway stickers which we have to buy each year and to put on the windshield. And yes, the guy and the chicken look typical Swiss too :-)

PS: A fellow Porsche collector just told me about the RS he has bought about a year ago in Switzerland. Original owner sold it to a garage, the garage to a dealer, the dealer to this guy on the same day. The price drippled in a matter of days, from a very very low number to a still very attractive price. Everybody was happy, until new proud owner called the original owner to get more background information on the car.....

That would be the car George transformed into a beautiful home in the mountains. Wonder whatever happened to the chicken... dinner perhaps?

Bingo...i would even say, by judging its color red/yellow, its a 2006 sticker..since these colors change every year..but again, I could be wrong.
If recent picture..the chicken might be still alive.
