Paint code 925 siver met. vs. 936 silver met.

I just brought home a 73E last night, and the paint is tired. Is there a differance between the two paint codes listed? I had a difficult time finding 936, it looks like a VW color, that is what my car is. If anyone has any pictures, or can direct me to where I might see examples of both, I would appreciate it. Thanks-Bill Woods

    Bill,

I am no expert by any means but in Peter Morgan's book he lists silver metallic (code 925), as a special order color for 1972.

In 1973, silver metallic is coded 936, (also special order)
