    BMW Recaros in 911?

Anyone have experience with specific seat fitment in an early 911? I am thinking of doing this for more practical seats that are still period looking and quality. Obviously i would have to fab up or modify some brackets, but what about height and width issues? I have never liked the look or feel (or price) of early 911 sport seats and the BMW versions seem like a good alternative.

I have a set of Recaro C seats from the early 80's that fit well in my 69 E.

Our seats look similar except mine are cloth. In order to install, I ordered a set of sliders and adapters from Wedge engineering. Just under $200 per seat.
Call Wendell at 562 633-1663 and give him the part # of your seats and he'll set you up.

Thanks for the info. How is the height when you are in the seat? Do you have any pics of the interior?
