    Front Spoiler No Ducktail Effects

After seeing that sweeet Irish Green RS with no ducktail, I got to thinking Is there any negatives to running a spoiler be it RS or S, without a rear spoiler. I am aware and have felt the instability of running the oppisite, rear duck and standard front, highly NOT recomended but don't remember hearing any negatives with the Irish Green RS setup?
Thanks in advance for your input and I expect to get it for the thinking comment.

Yep, my 73S with a duc droped at about 75 then a definate down force at 90. I guess what I'm afraid of is lift in the rear. Maybe those muffler skirts did serve a aero purpose. Naaahh.

Rick: It will be no problem at all. It will be a little tail happy in high speed turns just like any of the non tailed cars. If you put some rake in the car about 1.5 degrees measured at the door opening then it works great. The front RS or S spoiler will spill some of the air from going under the car which helps with the downforce. If you only use the tail it gives the rear downforce which gives the front lift and when the air gets under the front-more lift. You can also the lower the car to stop the air from going under the car. Hope this helps. Are you doing historic racing perhaps? Thanks Eric

I am starting a 67 Normale project. I want to keep it slim and light. The budget and my driving skills will keep me out competitively but hope to zing around and stay out of everyones way. I have almost all the parts to build two seperatate motors, a high compression 2.4 and 2.7. I also can go the 2.5 short stroke route with a 3rd engine but want to run it on the street so will probably stay away from it for now.
