    Local Car Show

We have a local hotrod show each year near my home town. It's in a small tourist town and they close off the 2-mile long main street on Friday night and fill it with a couple of thousand cars, bands, and people. It's a huge event and a lot of fun. I usually take a car, mainly so I have a good place to sit .... I'm always one of only a handful of furrin' cars (M3 this year)

This year, right after they closed the road and before they let the cars out on to it, they ran 6 or 7 vintage top fuel dragsters down the main street

The Mustang is a friend's. Not my 'cup of tea' but very interesting. It's a Boyd Coddington prototype that was done in conjunction with Roush Racing. It did the car show circuit with Boyd and my friend bought it at a wholesale auction, not really even knowing what it was.
