Yes, none matching. I communicated with the seller over half a year ago. I remember that a guy from Autofarm(I think it was Josh Saddler) had visited the seller to review the car for him for sales purposes. I will have to check old email to confirm this.
I think this is the car previously for sale at Legends Automotive Ltd:
Firstly , the car is not a matching number car , but is a genuine RST.! ( not a replica).
Please find enclosed the pictures of the 2.7 RS .
The car has recently had a engine rebuild.( local well noted engine builder and rolling road specialist).
The gearbox was also replaced last year (it has the remote period oil cooler etc fitted).
The situation is that due to a lack of spares avaialble from porsche uk , we chose to put the replacment ( newly reconditioned ) in and rebuild the other box at a later date.
The car is a very presentable and good car solid car , but being honest , not a show / concour car.( but its superbly presentable!).
The car is low on its mileage since the engine rebuild , but the car is enjoyed and used .
We know the owner and he lives locally.
Reason for sale : has an opportunity to move on to a italian road car , and has owned the 911 for many years.( approx 15years!)
Cars history: We have a few letters etc from UK carrera owners club.
They state the car was delivered to switzerland from new , then via a few owners the car was once the property of a well known porsche man called neil bainbridge.
The car was noted to have possibly been raced, probably by neil.
The car was documented to have had that the front end was repaired by AUTOFARM in the late 80's early 90's ? ( dont know if it was rust or minor damage).
The car has been fully repainted in recent years , and has been inspected by porsche specialist and confirmed to us and a client thta the car was good , solid and very presentable.
Our owner has enjoyed the car very much , and is not a driven seller of the car.
The car is fitted with Porsche 934 racing seats , and the owner has a pair of seats , but is not convinced they are the origionals.
The price was then 64.000£
