headliner replacement in the SF Bay Area

I just purchased a 70E and is in dire need of a headliner replacement.

Can you guys recommend a shop in the SF Bay Area who can do a clean headliner replacement?

Who sells the best headliner that looks vintage/original?

The E currently has the original white headliner w/Black interior.... I was kicking around the idea of installing black instead of white... any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Dave

Bump, did you ever find the best place for this? I looked at DIY options and decided this may be a better job for someone else

Hi. I have been having my work done for the last 25 years at Jeda generations in San Jose, they restore anything from 356 Speedster seats to 911 Cabriolet rear windows, headliners, carpets, and are excellent at what they do. It ain't the cheapest nor the fastest, but it turns out right. Talk to Jack and Verna.

Mike's Upholstery in Marin. Superb attention to detail.

So I called a number of places and Jeda seems to be the cheapest, coming in at around $1000 including new 'European' headlining, genuine window seals for all 4 windows and weatherstrips. Cooks Upholstery in Redwood City wanted double that. Mikes in Marin is quite a long way from my house.

I think I'll go with Jeda, thanks for the recommendations.
