Not sure if you wanted some of the later ones:

    964 RSL
    964 RST
    964 RSN-GT
    964 Cup

    993 RS
993 RSR (Clubsport for the UK)
    993 Cup
    993 Targa
    993 Turbo S
    993 widebody cabriolet
    993 GT1
    993 GT2

    996 GT1
    996 GT2
    996 GT3
    996 GT3 Clubsport
    996 GT3 Cup
    996 GT3 RS
    996 Targa

987 is the current Boxster designation replacing 986

With the 993 you could also consider the pre-Varioram and post Varioram - and with the 996 3.4ltr and 3.6ltr.

With the 997 there is the Carrera 2, Carrera 4 (3.6), Carrera 2&4S (3.8) plus their Cabriolet versions, Turbo, GT3, GT3 Cup, GT3 RS, GT2 (not announced but sneaked), Targa.

Is this what you were after, or have i missed the point? HTH

    John,

You will never know a substantial number of these project numbers as they relate to outside contracts eg Volkswagon or the German government.
A good list is to be found in Ludwigsen's Excellence.

    Cheers,
    Dennis.
1970 914-6 - materialised from the 'Lotto' garage into reality
    1971 2.2 911 S - now back in the UK - sob!
1975 Carrera Targa (ROW) - missed.
One of us is fast becoming a valuable antique.

    Thanks everybody

I understand that a complete list is almost impossible to make, but thanks for the input anyway. Actually I posted the list for those that might find the list I allready had, interesting.

The Mary Stuart are one of my all time 911 favorites, I want one for Christmas !!! (Mary Stuart of the then royal family of Scotland, had a wide neck collar on her dress that someone "recognized" in the tail spoiler of this car, and therefore got the nickname Mary Stuart)
